Laneige Lip Mask | $22
Let me just start out by saying I am a product junkie, I spend wayyyy too much money on skincare and makeup. But I’m not one to spend $20 on a lip mask, I’ll just use my chapstick from the drugstore. I would so much rather buy a lipstick or a new highlighter. But back in December when Utah winter was in full force, I was so desperate. My lips were so dry and nothing was helping. So I ended up taking a chance and I ordered the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Let me tell you, this mask was a lifesaver.
How the Mask Works
It has Vitamin C and antioxidants – the mask has a “moisture wrap” that boasts hyaluronic acid (my favorite ingredient ever) and minerals that create a barrier over the lips to lock in moisture and releases moisture over an eight hour period.
The morning after I started using this I saw an immediate difference in my lips. They were so much softer and I didn’t have dry lips once for the rest of the winter. The packaging makes this mask even better. Everything is pink, and it comes with a cute little applicator. I was kind of skeptical of the applicator at first but there were a few nights that I used my finger instead of the applicator and I could really tell a difference the next day, and not in a good way. There’s something about using the applicator that makes it sink in so much more.
Anyway, I have not missed one single night of using this for almost 6 months. This thing does not leave my bedside. It has the best fruity scent, and goes on thick, but not gooey and gross, Just the perfect texture on your lips. I’ve even started using this during the day as a gloss. It’s obvious, but I’m so obsessed. Every single person needs to use this lip mask.
They’ve now released another scent since I bought it, Vanilla. I need to order that ASAP. This product has over 5,000 reviews on Sephora and almost 5 stars, which is rare. So I’m definitely not the only one that’s obsessed. I love how its formulated without parabens and phthalates. Which are two things I try to avoid. Also, using this every night for six months and I still haven’t used half of the bottle so you definitely get your money’s worth with this product!
