I remember the first time I went to a Morphe store I was so overwhelmed. They have a huge wall full of brushes and it was so hard to figure out which brushes I needed. I ended up buying a bunch of different kinds to see which ones I liked best and I have narrowed it down to a few that I use every single day. Here are my top 5 face brushes from Morphe.
When I’m not using a sponge for my foundation this is always what I reach towards. I have a few foundation brushes I love from Morphe but this one takes the cake. It’s one of their more expensive brushes but it is so worth it! Morphe describes this brush as “A full-coverage, kabuki-style foundation brush with densely packed synthetic bristles that will buff your foundation to an airbrush finish.” Which is exactly what it does. I’ve had this brush for about a year and a half and have had no shedding and every time I wash this brush it goes right back to being white.
This is by far my favorite to use for blending my under eye concealer. Even when I’m using a sponge for my foundation I use this instead of my sponge for concealer. I was hesitant about this because it’s a wider, thicker brush. It literally looks like a brush you paint with. It’s basically as big as my eye so I didn’t think it was going to work great for concealer. But I was wrong. It has a pointed top that blends concealer up under your lower lash line which I have a really hard time doing with a sponge.
This is what I use for my undereye powder or to bake. It is by far the best brush for undereye powder I have ever used. I had a really hard time finding a brush to use for my powder because most powder and blush brushes are way too big to use under your eye. I’m so glad they came out with this brush because I think it definitely is something that was missing in makeup brushes.
Even though this is a contour brush it is the perfect brush for blush, it is literally the best blush brush I have ever used. The more you use and wash this brush the more it fluffs out and gets bigger. Which usually isn’t a good thing but in this case it makes this brush 10x better!
Morphe’s description on this brush is “Flared, tapered natural brush that sweeps highlight precisely where you want it.” Which is the best way I can think of how to explain it! I love this one over my other highlighter brushes because the bristles are longer than all my other brushes and it’s such a thin brush that it doesn’t spread highlighter everywhere on your face.
