Subtl Beauty Starter Stack Review

Subtl Beauty is one of the coolest makeup brands! They have a stackable makeup routine that you can customize and pick out your own shades! Their products are made to simplify and shorten your makeup routine. You can take their quiz to get products recommended to you or you can start with their starter pack (that’s what I got). This is such a great travel product because the only other products you would need to bring are a foundation, brow products, eyeliner, and mascara.

Each product ranges from $12-14 and comes with 3.5g of product. Each stack comes with a lid and a sponge applicator. You can buy extra lids in case you want to store your stacks separately. They also sell an amazing fluffy brush that’s perfect for travel ($20).

I love the starter pack because it saves you 10%, if you were to buy them individually it would cost you $68 instead of $60

Lip & Cheek – $14

Since I got the starter stack mine came with shade Dusty Rose, I also added Riveting Red. They have five shades you can choose from and you get about 60 uses out of each pan. The main ingredients are Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, and Jojoba Oil.

I am so impressed with the color payoff of these! Dusty Rose is such a beautiful everyday natural shade and blends out to be the most natural-looking blush. Riveting Red is the perfect holiday red blush and lip shade. These feel really good on your lips, I would describe them as a thick lip balm. They feel very hydrating but give you the coverage of a lipstick. I think the lip and cheek is my favorite product in the stack!

Cream Concealer – $14

The cream concealer comes in 19 shades and they have a shade finder where you put what shade you use of your normal concealer and they tell you the closest match. I got shade Chartiers and it is a perfect match for me! A great thing about Subtl Beauty is if you get your product and the concealer shade isn’t right you just send them an email and they’ll send you a new shade for free!

Their concealer is a lightweight, medium coverage that can be built up. I found it to be on the lighter coverage side but it definitely does build up. They recommend using your fingers to apply and blend the product, and I definitely agree. I tried applying it with a brush then my fingers and using my fingers to blend made it look so natural! The brush left brush streaks in the concealer. This definitely is lightweight, you can’t even feel the product on your skin.

Bronzer – $12

The bronzer comes in two shades Cool Contour or Warm Glow. I have the shade Warm Glow. I love how this can also be doubled as an eyeshadow. Warm Glow is the perfect shade for my fair/light skin tone. I love using it as a quick crease shade and blending it under my cheekbones.

Highlighter – $14

The highlighter comes in two shades Champagne (their best seller) and Rose. This is a mineral highlighter. Champagne is more of a golden highlight and Rose is a more pink rosey highlight. I have the shade Champagne.

This is such a great, staple highlighter to have in your collection. This shade is one you could have and you wouldn’t need any other highlighter. It’s a very flattering shade and it is really smooth on your skin. It doesn’t make your pores look bigger it just gives you the perfect natural glow!

Shine Control Powder – $12

This is a lightweight translucent powder that helps control shine. You can use your mini applicator or brush to apply. I really like this powder, it feels very velvety and soft on the skin. I’ve loved using it to set my undereye then I brush some over to set my foundation and cream products.

If you are someone that travels a lot or wears more natural makeup I would 100% recommend this set! I am so excited to now have this in my collection because it is going to save me so much room when I travel. It is also the perfect product for a quick everyday makeup routine! I am also so impressed with the quality of the products.
