Best Products for Everyday Natural Makeup

makeup flatlay

The past couple years I’ve gotten into the habit of doing a million step makeup routine that takes me 30 minutes to do. Since I’ve moved and don’t have my usual routine anymore, I’ve just wanted to be able to get up and leave the house without spending forever getting ready. There’s something about living in California that is so laid back, I never want to get ready! I’ve really had to streamline my makeup routine to be able to do this. I’ve gone through all my makeup and found the products that are fast to apply, look natural, and make my mornings so much easier! Don’t get me wrong, there still are days where I spend 30-40 minutes doing my makeup but I love knowing that if I need to I can throw these products on and be ready in under 10 minutes!

CC Cream foundation

It Cosmetics CC Cream

Shade Light – $39

This has been my go-to foundation for a few years now, it is perfect for a quick, easy foundation that gives you coverage. This definitely needs to be built up for fuller coverage, but for a CC cream, one pump makes your skin look amazing!  The one drawback is the shade range isn’t great, I have a hard time finding a shade that matches me when I’m pale. I use the original formula, but they have an Illumination and a Matte formula. So every skin type can find one that works! They also make a travel size of this foundation for $15, which is great so you can try out the product before you spend the full 40 dollars. I had the trial size a while ago and it really does last a long time!

Glossier Concealer

Glossier Strech Concealer

Shade G10 – $18

This is a newer product I’ve started using. I usually use a thick, more full coverage concealer for under my eyes, but I tried this just for fun and it’s now in my top 3 favorite concealers. It makes your undereyes look like your skin is naturally that bright. It covers dark circles but still looks so natural. I’ve found the best way to apply this is to just use your finger instead of a brush or sponge.

IT Cosmetics Powder

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Anti-Aging Finishing Powder

Translucent – $29

Like the CC Cream, this is another one my go tos from the past couple of years. It blurs your pores and keeps your makeup locked in all day! This is also a great powder to set under your eyes. I’ve also never had any issues with flashback when I’ve used this, which will make or break a powder for me! I have had an issue with the pan breaking, so just be careful with this powder! These powders are usually part of Ulta’s 21 days of beauty sale, and they’re half off.  I usually will buy 2 during the sale and they last forever!

Boy Brow

Glossier Boy Brow

Shade Brown – $16

This product is a game changer. I hardly ever fill in my brows anymore, I just put a couple of coats on and my brows are good to go! It has the perfect waxy texture to keep your brows put all day without making them crunchy and it has such great pigmentation. This would be the number one product I would recommend if you’re trying to simplify your makeup routine!

Eyeliner

Tarteist Clay Paint Liner

Mulberry – $12-$24

Since I don’t have lash extensions or really wear falsies I like to make my lashes look as full as possible, so I always wear eyeliner. When I’m doing a more natural look I have been using the shade Mulberry from Tarte. It’s a deep purple so it makes my eyeliner look a little less harsh. Eyeliner is such an easy step to skip though if you’re going more natural.

Mascara

L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara

Shade Blackest Black – $10.99

This has been my go to mascara since it was released. If I switch mascaras I always end up going back to this one! I have gone through about 4 tubes of this now and I love it so much. Mascara usually takes me so long to apply, but with this one, you don’t have to worry about it getting clumpy so you can apply it pretty fast. For the daytime, I usually do one coat and I’m good to go! This mascara layers really well if you want it to be more intense.

Highlighter

Becca Pressed Highlighter

Shade Champagne Pop – $39

This is my favorite part of doing my makeup! I will throw some highlighter on my cheekbones, nose, and in the inner corner of my eyes. It’s such an easy way to brighten up your face and add some dimension.  Since I don’t contour or put on blush when I’m getting ready fast, I love to throw some highlighter on! My favorite Highlighter for my cheeks is from Becca in Champagne Pop and my favorite for my inner corner is the shade “Beam” from the original Jaclyn Hill Palette.

Glosses

NYX Butter Gloss – $5

Glossier Lip Gloss – $14

I love wearing gloss when I’m doing a natural look because just like highlighter it adds some dimension, but takes 2 seconds to apply. You can just swipe some on without a mirror and look a little more put together! I typically switch between the Glossier Lip gloss and my NYX Butter Glosses. It really just depends on what I’m wanting that day. The Glossier Gloss is the best clear gloss I have ever tried, or if I’m wanting a little color I use the NYX gloss. My go-to shade is “Creme Brulee”.

I know, written out it seems like a lot of steps but these products seriously go on like a breeze and you’ll have the perfect fresh face that’ll last all day! What are your favorite everyday products?

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is required
to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100% certain. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
